Bookit Editor's Review

Bookit is an easy to use bookmark synchronization application.

This program is a real helper for you if you're the kind of Macintosh user who browses the Web using multiple browser applications. Currently Bookit provides you the support for the most important browsers on Mac OS X: Safari, Firefox, and Opera.

The application is very easy to use. In the management mode you need to pick a master browser, and the bookmark list of that browser can be migrated to the others. It also provides you a organization mode, where you can edit the bookmarks, and synchronize them with the checked browsers.

The migrate mode is very easy to use and it allows you to synchronize any of the master browsers with any of the other browsers. You just need to chose the source and the destination, and start the action.

If you did a mistake, there's still hope. The restore mode allows you to rebuild the bookmarks from a browser to their original state.

Pluses: it allows you to keep your browsers synchronized; it's easy to use; it has a restore mode which can rebuild your bookmark directory in case something bad happens.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: if you use any of the supported browsers, Safari, Firefox, and Opera, and you don't like to ask yourself where's a certain bookmark stored, then you can try to be in sync with Bookit.
